After an excellent run of form earlier in the campaign, Eden Hazard has gone off the boil at Chelsea.
Hazard has seven goals and four assists in the Premier League this season.
However in Chelsea’s last five Premier League matches, Hazard’s only contribution was an assist in the 3-1 win over Crystal Palace.
But is Hazard’s real problem Alvaro Morata?
In an unbelievable stat, Hazard hasn’t scored for Chelsea this season when Morata has been on the pitch.
That’s remarkable, and suggests that Maurizio Sarri needs to find a new way to construct Chelsea’s attack.
Olivier Giroud, who came off the bench to score against Spurs, is the obvious alternative to Morata.
It will be no surprise to see Giroud lead the Chelsea attack in upcoming matches against PAOK and Fulham in the next few days.
