How I Lured, K!lled 7 Women Through Dating App – Ritualist Confesses…

Date:

A suspected ritual killer, Adebayo Olamide Azeez, confessed on Thursday to luring seven women through a dating app called “MyChat” and subsequently killing them for ritual purposes. Adebayo, 32, disclosed this while speaking to reporters after being paraded in Abeokuta, Ogun State, alongside a female suspect, Awuraji Mariam, by the Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alamutu.

He admitted to being a member of a ritualist gang specializing in murdering women and selling their body parts for money rituals. The Ogun State Police Command had earlier arrested and paraded members of the gang, including Moses Abidemi Awuraji, Oluwo Samuel Monday, Peter Oluwalolese, Jamiu Yusuf, Akinwunmi Ifatosin, Sherifff Agbai, and Osojieahen Alioneitouria, for their alleged involvement in the killing of a 35-year-old woman, Sulaimon Adijat, for money ritual.

Adebayo, who had been evading arrest, was eventually apprehended by the police. He revealed that he had joined the gang in September of the previous year and had participated in the killing of seven women.

Commissioner Alamutu, while parading the suspects, explained that Adebayo conspired with Moses Abidemi Awuraji, a herbalist, to execute the killings for money rituals. The victims were strangled to death, and their body parts were dismembered and sold to buyers for ritual purposes. The suspects confessed to killing ten different women at Moses Abidemi’s residence in Igbo Olomi.

Describing his modus operandi, Adebayo stated, “I would connect with the ladies on MyChat, a hookup app, and arrange to meet them. Upon confirmation of their availability, we would negotiate the price, and I would provide my address. After picking them up, I would inform Moses Abidemi, and we would take them to his house where they were killed.”

He added, “I cannot refuse their requests to bring in more victims. I do not inquire about the purpose or recipients of the body parts.”

Commissioner Alamutu assured the public that the command was diligently working to identify other victims and urged individuals with missing relatives to report to the police with photographs of the missing persons.
