An articulated truck with registration number MUS 41 XY laden with a 40feet container has crushed two tricycles with registration number KRD 276QM and AAA 227 QM in Ikeja area of Lagos.
It was gathered that the incident occurred when the truck was ascending the hill inward Kudirat Abiola Way then suffered mechanical error which made it to roll back and crushed the two Tricycles.
Although, as at the time of filing this report, no casualty nor fatality was recorded.
Confirming the incident, the Director-General of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Dr Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, said that the agency was working tirelessly at the scene to clear the roads that would have been shut down by the road traffic.
Oke-Osanyintolu blamed reckless driving and overspeeding for truck accidents that occurred at different locations in Lagos.
