Zulum Distributes COVID-19, Insurgency Palliatives To Borno Residents

Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum has distributed COVID-19 and insurgency palliatives to 100, 000 vulnerable residents of Maiduguri metropolis and Jere council in the state.

The palliatives include about 45, 000 bags of rice, 55,000 sachets of sugar and bales of wrappers.

Distributing the relief materials, yesterday (Tuesday, in Maiduguri, Zulum disclosed that each of the about 55, 000 women are provided with N10, 000, a wrapper and two sachets of sugar.

He said that the distributed relief materials are to cushion the hardships of residents from the over a decade terrorism.

He, therefore, warned the residents not to sell the distributed materials for profits.
