The European Union (EU) has unfolded a seven-year green economy and capital development plans for Nigeria.

According to the EU, the priority areas are in “agriculture, good governance and migration” across the six geological zones.

The priority areas were announced yesterday (Tuesday) by the Programme Manager, Temitayo Omole at the EU Borno packaging coordination meeting held in Maiduguri.

“There will be capital development in the education sector,” he said, adding that the priority areas of interventions are in girl-child education and social protection.

Three development partners submitted their sustainability plans and handed over projects to the Ministry of Reconstruction, Rehabilitation and Resettlement (MRRR) for tracking, monitoring and maintenance of completed infrastructural facilities.
