Osun Forum has commended Governor Adegboyega Oyetola for his achievements since he came to power in 2018.The group in a letter to the Governor, signed by its President, Asiwaju Olaitan Alabi, said “we have been following with keen all that has been happening in the state since inception. We are delighted to observe that since you on board as the Executive Governor, you have not not let us down through your progressive actions and activities which include rehabilitation of many state roads and some Federal roads,face- lift of many health centres, reversal of the inherited state educational policy that was found to be discordant to the national education policy among others.
The group however implored the governor not to relent on his efforts especially in the areas of speedy completion of arrangements to launch Amotekun and complaints by Local Government Chairmen that state government still deduct substantial amounts from their monthly allocations which leaves very little for capital projects .”Adding that if the allegation is not true the state government should make a public pronouncement so that some Chairmen will not continue to deceive their people .
