APC South West UK issues disclaimer on meeting where Senator Ojudu was main speaker.

Date:

Our attention has been drawn to a zoom meeting that was organised by some recalcitrant free rogue elements in the UK under the guise of APC South West UK. We are stating unequivocally that the Zoom meeting held in London, UK (online) on the 12th of June 2020 that featured Senator Babafemi Ojudu at the meeting as the main speaker did not have the blessings of our South West APC UK Chairman Hon. Folu Ojutalayo nor the well meaning dignified loyal members.

Well meaning Nigerians and friends of Nigeria all over the world have been calling our attention to this awkward and unauthorised meeting which lacked in merit and held without consultations with our leaders in Nigeria and those that matter, especially those who are in the forefront of Nigerian politics and still with the APC wholeheartedly till date.

APC south west UK, understand the leadership and substantive Chairmanship of Hon. Folu Ojutalayo, as an arm of APC South West in Nigeria, has been working tirelessly for the progress and expansion of the party outside the shores of the country.

APC South West UK hereby disassociates itself from the rogue elements and the rogue zoom meeting in all its ramifications. We condemn the entire session in its entirety, especially the impugning of the character and integrity of our most honoured sitting Governor of Ekiti State, Governor Kayode Fayemi.

We therefore call on our leaders in Nigeria not to allow this recalcitrant group to dent their long hard earned image just because they want to reap where they did not sow.
