EID-EL-FITR CELEBRATION. ASSURES THEM OF ADEQUATE

SECURITY WHILE CALLING FOR USEFUL INFORMATION

The Commissioner of Police Delta State Command, CP Hafiz Mohammed Inuwa,mni felicitates with Muslim Ummah as they celebrate Eid-El-Fitr. The CP assures the general public of adequate security, before, during and after the celebrations. He also noted that the command has already stepped up security in the state through increase patrol/robust deployment of personnel and equipment to all nooks and crannies of the state.

   The CP reiterates the command’s commitment of discharging its statutory mandate of securing lives and properties, maintaining peace and order at all times. He urge members of the public to continue to assist and collaborate with the police and other security agencies to enable them serve the good people of the state better, while admonishing them to be security conscious and take appropriate measures towards personal protection and their personal effects, not only at home but also in public places such as markets, worship centers, shopping malls and highways.

          CP equally encourages Deltans to continue to observe all necessary precautionary measures as laid down by Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) to curtail the spread of COVID-19 in the country and Delta State in particularly: such as social distancing, wearing of face mask and washing of hands with soap and water and also the overnight curfew as directed by the State Government.

The Commissioner of police ended by wishing Deltans a happy, fruitful and hitch free Eid-El-Fitr celebrations.
