ADHERE TO GOVERNMENT DIRECTIVES TO SAFE LIFE
-CP ONDO URGES CITIZENS
The Ondo State Police Command is advising all citizens and residents of Ondo State to adhere strictly to the directives of the State Government concerning the dreaded Corona virus – otherwise called Covid-19.
The government of Ondo State in reference to the Directives of the Federal Government has warned citizens to stay safe by avoiding crowded areas. It has also called for the closure of all social gatherings, drinking joints, Congregation of more than 50 persons in any worship Centre, use of air-condition in any vehicle accommodating more than five persons and the carrying of more than one passenger on any particular motor bike at any particular point in time in all parts of the State, warning, those who intend to drink should buy their drinks to their respective houses to avoid contact with others.
The Ondo State Commissioner of Police, CP Undie Adie, Psc+ says he will not hesitate to implement forceful action against any obstinate person who intends to contest with the government over this directive; and has therefore warned all operators of beer parlous, and other social gathering businesses to close shop until a solution to the pandemic is sorted out.
This warning becomes imperative in order to save the lives of the good people of Ondo State.
