NIGERIA DEPORTS SEVEN NORTH KOREANS FOR LIFE

The Nigeria Immigration Service has deported the following seven (7) Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) nationals from Nigeria for life:

JO SUN PHIL
JANG SUNG CHOL
CHE CHUN HYOK
PAK YONG GON
R I YONG IL
RI HAK SU
RI TONG NAM

A statement signed by the Service’ Public Relations Officer, Sunday James explains that they were deported to their country of origin on 15th October, 2019 through the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on the orders of the Minister Of Interior.
The statement adds that the Minister acted on the powers conferred on him by the Immigration Act 2015.
Although no reason was given for the deportation, but sources said the decision was taken based on national interest.
