FRSC RECRUITMENT: 4,650 SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES UNDERGOING 6 MONTHS TRAINING

Over 4,650 successfully screened candidates for job with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) are undergoing a six-month training in three locations across the country.

Corps Public Education Officer Mr Bisi Kazeem made this known in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja, on Friday.

He said the locations include FRSC Academy , Udi Enugu for officers, Training school Jos for Inspectorate cadre and Nigeria Army Training Centre Kontagora for Marshal’s cadre.

He said the training had began on Tuesday and the candidates would go through a one-month internship in-between the duration of the training.

Kazeem said the corps was working with the allocated and approved number by President Muhammadu Buhari adding that only successful candidates were contacted as it was expected and rational.

He recalled that the recruitment exercise was quite transparent with physical screening, Jamb test and Interview conducted respectively.

NAN recalled that the agency had between Sept. 24 and Sept. 29, 2018 commenced the recruitment, with physical screening of no fewer than 324,000 applicants, who applied for jobs in the corps.

The exercise was for various cadres, including officers, Marshal Inspectors and Road Marshal Assistants.
