Over the last couple of weeks both Chelsea and Liverpool have been linked with moves for Borussia Dortmund winger, Christian Pulisic.
Pulisic is a product of Dortmund’s youth academy and at just 20 years of age, he has already racked up 109 appearances for their senior side.
In those 109 games, Pulisic has scored 15 and assisted 24.
Pulisic is also enjoying a solid start to the 2018/19 season having played 12, scored three and assisted four.
However, both Chelsea and Liverpool have been dealt a major blow in their pursuit of Pulisic.
This is because, according to Dortmund’s sporting director Michael Zorc, Pulisic will be staying with the German side until at least the end of the season.
Speaking to German outlet Kicker, Zorc stated:
“We’ve known these rumors for many years.
“We’re planning to continue with him at least until the end of the season. We will still need Christian significantly.”
