2019: NWC DECLARES VICTOR OKHAI AS WINNER OF PPC’S PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARIES

The National Working Committee of the Providence People’s Congress PPC on Wednesday 3rd October, 2018 at the party’s National Convention  declared Victor Okhai the winner of its presidential primaries which took place at Merit House Abuja. Victor Okhai, Mainasaran Ajingi who contested against other candidates emerged with a clear majority after the option A4 delegates election which was witnessed by INEC officials in what can be considered one of the most transparent primaries for a Presidential candidate in the run-up to the 2019 elections.

 

According to the National Chairman of PPC, Ben Adetona, “the transparent conduct of the primaries is in line with the party’s mantra to “Get it right, Do it right!” as a political party.

“Victor Okhai has emerged through a free, transparent and fair primary election.”

He urged Nigerians and its members to vote massively for the Providence People’s Congress PPC in the forthcoming general elections as it was the only party with the right programmes and will to deliver Nigeria out of its present predicament.

 

On His part, Okhai who grew up in Jos and hails from Edo State, with an Igbo mother from Abia State, pledged to Reclaim, Revitalize and Restore healing back to the nation and unite our people who have been divided along religious and ethnic lines with bloodshed, corruption and poverty as the order of the day. He enjoined Nigerians from all walks of life at home and abroad to join him on this mission of restoration.

The film maker/journalist now turned politician who was the immediate past National President of Command Secondary School, Jos Old Students Association, speaks Hausa, Igbo, Afenmai, Yoruba and German fluently with a bit of French and Arabic. He attended the Universities of Nigeria, Nsukka,  Lagos and The University of  California, Los Angeles.

He is happily married with a wife and four children.
