The Premier League have announced that Marcos Alonso, Neil Etheridge, Sadio Mane, Benjamin Mendy, Lucas Moura, Roberto Pereyra and Virgil Van Dijk are the Player of the Month nominees for August.
Six of the seven players have helped their clubs take nine points from a possible nine, whilst Cardiff City’s Etheridge helped the Bluebirds to keep two cleans sheets.
