KWARA UTD BOUNCES BACK; DEFEATS VISITING KANO PILLARS 2-1

Kwara United Football Club returned to winning way after the exit of Coach John Obuh beating visiting Kano Pillars two-one in one of the week fourteen Nigeria Professional Football Club decided in Ilorin.

Kano Pillars and the League highest goal scorer, Junior Lokossa broke the deadlock in the twenty fourth putting Pillars ahead with a clinical finishing ending the first half one-nil in favour of the visitors.

On resumption of the second stanza, Kwara United continued with their beautiful display and domination of possession which paid off in the sixty fourth minute.

Substitute Sunday Okechukwu headed in the equalizer to put smile on the faces of spectators who were seriously impressed with their performance.

Lukman Binuyo secured the three points for United with a powerful strike ‎in the seventieth minute.

Speaking in a chat with Sportswriters, Kwara United Coach, Bala Abdullahi praised the performance of the players and commended the spectators for believing in the team.

Coach Bala promised to keep improving the team for better performance.

Kwara United now has fourteen points and will travel to Akure to engage Sunshine Stars in the week fifteen cracker.
