Belcalis Almanzar, popularly known as Cardi B, The American rapper, songwriter, as well as a television and social media personality makes history today as she Becomes First solo Female Rapper to Top Billboard Hot 100 Without Any Features(assistant from other artist) since 1998. With her popular new hit single “bodak yellow “(MONEY MOVES).
According to Billboard, the last time such happened in the rap world was 19 years ago, 1998, when a post-Fugees Lauryn Hill debuted “Doo Wop (That Thing)” and had the top spot for two weeks in November 1998
Cardi B is now the second female rapper to ever top the chart by herself prior to her ;Lauryn Hill No. 1 with “Doo Wop “(That thing) in November 1998.
