Mrs. Akande was an Exceptional Homemaker

The Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunke Amosun has commiserated with former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Bisi Akande over the death of his wife, Omowunmi.
Amosun, in a statement described the deceased as an exceptional homemaker, who kept the home front intact during the democratic struggles of her husband.
“The government and people of Ogun State commiserate with our father and pathfinder, Chief Bisi Akande and his entire family on the death of his wife, Chief (Mrs.) Omowunmi Akande.
“Her inestimable value, love, support and contributions not only to her family but also associates of her husband, will always be cherished”, he said.
Also according to the governor, “while we share with you the pain of her death at this time, we join you in thanking the Almighty Allah for his mercies and the life well spent of our mother, which was so eventful. 
We pray that the Almighty grants her Aljanah as we also plead that God gives you, the children, entire family and the people of Osun State, the fortitude to bear this big loss.
