A major fire has gutted the popular Idumota market in Lagos State leaving many traders in panic mode.
The actual cause of the fire is still unknown. However, the intensity of the inferno has caused many other traders to worry that it would spread to other shops.
Some of the traders could be seen screaming for help while others lamented that they did not know why the market would suffer fire disasters almost every year.
In one of the videos, a firefighting truck was seen driving to the scene of the incident to help quench the fire. It is expected that normalcy will be restored soon.
