Yahoo Boy Hires Policeman To Shoot Picker For Not Remitting N44Million Scam Proceed

Two suspected cybercriminals have asserted that a police officer, Innocent Idi, subjected them to physical harm and gunfire in connection with a dispute over N44 million obtained through fraudulent means in Benin City, Edo State.

Endurance Ojo and Nelson, identified as the victims, reportedly experienced an alleged assault by Innocent Idi and his group at Wesley Hotel in GRA on Friday, August 25, 2023.

As stated by a source, an individual had purportedly contacted Endurance and others to pick a sum of N44 million, yet the funds failed to reflect.

Eddy and the parties involved presented evidence to the individual as proof that the funds had not been received. Despite this, the client declined to issue payment.

Consequently, the owner of the funds arranged a face-to-face meeting with Eddy and his associates at Wesley Hotel in GRA on the preceding day. The owner of the money was accompanied by the aforementioned police officer, Innocent Idi.

A confrontation reportedly ensued among them, resulting in Innocent shooting Endurance in the leg. They physically assaulted Nelson, subjected him to an intense beating.

Videos depicting the injured victims, namely Endurance Ojo and Nelson narrating the sequence of events from the confines of their hospital beds, gained immense traction across various platforms.

Adding to the already intense narrative, another compelling video surfaced, capturing the duo in a fervent and vociferous verbal exchange with a group of individuals right on the streets.
