A Twitter user in Nigeria, @Opara ndi Imo has accused the younger brother of the chairman of Lagos State Parks and Garages Management Committee, MC Oluomo, of forcing Oshodi sellers to march for Bola Tinubu.

“I just stopped at Oshodi now to pick some stuffs, the woman I bought goods was lamenting to me that MC Oluomo’s younger brother is forcing them to March for Tinubu tomorrow at surulere, that anyone who refused to attend would attract her shop to be locked up.

“She even went ahead to tell me that they have been instructed to vote for Tinubu on election day, and they must show evidence by snapping their ballot papper if truly they would want to continue their businesses. What kind of oppression is this? @SERAPNigeria @inecnigeria

“This must not be allowed in our political sphere else we will be building a monster that will consume all of us.”

His tweet has generated mixed reactions from Nigerians.

A tweep, @B2bgr replied: “Chai, this is terrible. Please advice her to relocate back to Abia state o. I am sure she will definitely enjoy her Monday-Monday rest.”

Peace and Tranquility who is not in support of @B2bgr’s tweet said: “If @JamesIbori6 got celebrated despite his daunting criminality I’m not surprised at people like you.”

Another tweep, Blackbird wrote: “If this is true, then LP should be alerted. The market women must be sensitised about their rights to vote without intimidation. And that their rights will be protected in the court of law.”

According to @easyolly: “Lie we never take you to anywhere and he can’t never make obi to be come president.”

@Teejay2 who seems to be a supporter of APC presidential candidate, Tinubu, stated: “Just like you are forcing people to close their businesses on Monday for the past 2 years. ???????

Olori Oluwasegun also waded in, writing: “Why are you saying this, it’s happening, do you have a store at Oshodi? Didn’t you see the ones of last week on here, Lagos Island women complaining, common.”

Oloye @Benlexy1, in a response to Oluwasegun’s tweet, wrote: “This madness need to stop for God sake. If any one threaten u threaten them too and disagree with anyone trying to force u to vote against ur wish. Tinubu is not the owner of Lagos and We are not in banner republic.”

@HolyGhostJoy queried why @Benlexy1 will believe what @OparaNdiImo said.

“It’s a lie. How do you believe that without questioning?”

@Benlexy1 responded to @HolyGhostJoy: “What about the video last week?At least we saw a man asking for 500 on behalf of iyaloja for rally and nobody debunk that video. This is something the Lagos State govt should come out to debunk and warn people but who born d govt well to do that, rather his playing politics.”

Recall that Musiliu Akinsanya popularly known as MC Oluomo, had announced on Saturday that he will be holding a rally for Tinubu on Sunday.

On Sunday morning, MC Oluomo and other supporters of the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, defied the heavy rain to hold their five-million-man rally in Lagos State.
