Three policemen have been reportedly killed in Enugu State on Wednesday night, following an attack by unidentified gunmen.
Voiceofnaija.ng gathered that the incident happened at the Chime Avenue, New Haven, Enugu North Local Government Area of the State.
A source disclosed that the gunmen, driving in a Toyota Sienna, overtook the policemen’s van, a Toyota Hilux and opened fire on them.
Three of the officers were said to have died on the spot.
The Enugu State Police Command is yet to issue a statement on the incident.
