Fed. Lawmaker, Akande-Sadipe Assists Kidnapped Victim, Pays Hospital Bills

A House of Representatives member, Rep. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe has contributed to the treatment of a kidnap victim (names withheld) in Ekiti State.

A statement by her Special Assistant, Media & Publicity, Olamilekan Olusada, on Sunday, indicated that Akande-Sadipe received an SOS call from the victim’s family who had sustained various degrees of injury, in the hands of some suspected ritualists.

Her family reached out to Rep. Akande-Sadipe on a need for urgent medical care from the life threatening injuries.

Speaking on behalf of the rescued victim, Abisola Stella Aruleba, from Nims University, Rajasthan, Jaipur, India expressed total delight and boundless gratitude to the House of Representatives member whom she described as “an inspiration”.

She applauded her genuine love for mankind, saying though the victim, a female, is not from Oyo state, the Representative swung into action.

Contribution to the care of the victim is coming at a time when Rep. Akande-Sadipe had in various fora condemned the high spate of insecurity in the country.

Akande-Sadipe, who Chairs the House Committee on Diaspora therefore called on all relevant security agencies to find a lasting solution to the insecurity challenges bedevilling the country and appealed to Nigerians to dwell in Peace and Love.
