We’ll End Killings, Others To Secure Nation-Tinubu

The All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential aspirant, Sen. Ahmed Bola Tinubu has pledged to end killings, vandalism and insecurity to secure the nation.

According to him, insecurity to lives and property has spread to stifled economic development and growth in the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria.

Tinubu made the pledges, yesterday (Sunday), in Maiduguri, while meeting with 341 party delegates at the Government House, Maiduguri.

“We’ve not started yet. It’s just the begging of a great future to restore the lost glories of the country,” he said, adding that he will use all means necessary and assured the people, if he becomes the president next year.

He maintained that he believes in winning, as long as the Borno delegates support him become the president.

“I’m smarter than the other aspirants of our great party,” he said.

Tinubu told the delegates that he is already a presidential candidate of APC and not an aspirant.

As the people do not want to move to any other country, he noted, the sovereignty of Nigeria is here that cannot disintegrate.

According to him, the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) had 16 year to correct and build a strong foundation of prosperity and honest, but squandered them.

Responding, Governor Babagana Zulum has urged the aspirant to consider Sen. Kashim Shettima, as his running mate at the 2023 presidential elections.
