Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno state has reshuffled the 21-member cabinet for efficient service deliveries in the health, environment and justice sectors.
According to him, the reshufflings are to revive the Animal Resources and Fisheries Development across the state.
Zulum disclosed this Tuesday in Maiduguri, the state capital, in a statement of Danjuma Ali, who oversees the Secretary to the State Government, Usman Jidda Shuwa.
The Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice, Kaka Shehu Lawan, is being assigned to oversee the additional Ministry of Environment.
While Madu Lawan Walama, the former Commissioner of the Ministry of Environment, is to head the Ministry of Animal Resources and Fisheries Development with immediate effect.
The former commissioner of Animal Resources and Fisheries Development, Juliana Bitrus now becomes the new Commissioner of Health and Human Services.
According to Ali, all other portfolios and postings remain unshuffled; until further notice from the State Government.
