The Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai Al-Amin El-Kanemi has said that prayers and resilience are the permanent solution to Boko Haram terrorism.The monarch spoke Thursday, while paying Sallah greetings to the Acting Governor, Umar Kadafur at Government House, Maiduguri. He tasked the people to cooperate with the military and other security agencies expose the terrorists, including suspected kidnappers and bandits. He said this the way they could be arrested for prosecutions in the courts law. While reiterating the powers of prayers, he said: “The only permanent solution to insurgency, is to pray to God and save us from these terrorists and other criminal activities that abound in communities, farmlands and roads. While responding to mornarch’s call for prayers, Kadafur said: “If we could dwell on prayers, as suggested by our Royal Father, most of the security challenges be overcome to restore peace in the state.” He therefore urged residents to be security conscious by reporting suspicious groups of people or individuals to security agencies.He noted that Borno had challenges of power supply since January 25, 2021.
