Members of the Lagos State House of Assembly on Monday have confirmed the appointment of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu nominees into the Lagos State Judicial Service Commission, Lagos State Health Service Commission, Public Procurement Agency Governing Board and Ibile Oil and Gas Cooperation Governing Board. The nominees confirmed for Lagos State Health Service Commission include; Dr. (Mrs.) Onaiga Atinuke Muenat as Chairman, Dr. Mobolaji Olukoya and Dr. Olumuyiwa Solanke as members.
The nominees confirmed for Public Procurement Agency Governing Board are; Miss. Foluso Oluyinka Onabowale, Miss. Foluso Akeem Mustapha, and Mr. Olusola Lanre as members. The nominees confirmed as members of the Ibile Oil and Gas Governing Board are; Mr. Wole Ogunsanya, Mr. Tokunbo Ishmael, Mr. Goke Adeniyi, and Miss. Omolara Abike Kujo-Alakija. While the nominees confirmed for members as Lagos State Judicial Service Commission include; Mr. Supo Atijo, Mrs. Bamidele Akinyemi, and Mr. Kehinde Kareem.
However, the House did not confirm Mrs. Adepeju Muibat Adeleye as a member of Lagos State Health Service Commission as she did not appear before the House for screening. It would be recalled that the nominees had earlier appeared before the House for screening and to give detailed brief of their resumes and the innovative ideas each nominees would bring on board upon confirmation into Office.
The Speaker, Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Mudashiru Obasa thereafter directed the Acting Clerk of the House, Mr. Olalekan Onafeko to forward Confirmation letters to Mr. Governor..
