The Lagos State House of Assembly has appointed Mr. Olalekan Onafeko as the acting Clerk of the House.
The motion was moved by the Deputy Speaker, Hon. Sanni Eshinlokun during Plenary on Monday and unanimously agreed upon by the Members of the House following the retirement of the immediate past Clerk of the House, Mr. Azeez Sanni after attaining the mandatory retirement age of 60 in the Lagos State civil service on Friday, September 11th , 2020.
Prior to his appointment, Mr. Onafeko was the acting Director of Administration and Human Resources at the Assembly.
