Actor Chadwick Boseman of “Black panther “who also played black icons Jackie Robinson and James Brown died on Friday the 28th of August at the age 43 after a four year battle with colon cancer which he kept private .



He passed away at home in Los Angeles with his wife and family by his side, his publicist said.
He was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in 2016, which progressed into stage 4 within years.
His sad and painful death news was announced in a statement posted on his official Twitter account on the morning of Saturday, August 29.
: “Chadwick was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016, and battled with it these last four years as it progressed to stage IV.”



It said many of his recent roles had been filmed “during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy”
