PRESS BRIEFING AND PARADE OF SUSPECTS BY CP SALAMI AMIDU BOLAJI ONDO POLICE COMMAND HEADQURTERS IGBATORO ROAD, AKURE. JULY 17, 2020

Date:

Gentlemen of the 4th Estate of the Realm. This, perhaps is my second time of meeting with you. My first encounter with you as the Commissioner of Police in charge Ondo Police Command was during my taking over of leadership. And I remembered that at that time I told you that the Command under me will always see you as our vital partner in progress.

Today, I once again welcome you to my second Press briefing and my first parade of some suspects.

In my maiden Press briefing, I sent out a stern warning to criminals locking around Ondo State that this Command will no longer harbour criminals and their activities, and for this reason, they should relocate  to wherever they find it convenient to do their trade.

Those who heard and believed in my warning relocated, but some recalcitrant few who decided to make a trial, are now convinced that I never made an empty threat.

These are some of the achievements this Command has recorded under my supervision. And this would not have been possible were it not for the support and timeous information from the good people of Ondo State and your wider coverage of our programs.
