Sen. Ojudu in murky waters, alleged to front UK mole to distabilise Ekiti

Date:

Former Senator Babafemi Ojudu, who recently appeared as a special guest at a discredited APC south West group in London is alleged to have used the group to launch political attack on Ekiti State governor Dr Kayode Fayemi,

At a zoom meeting of the UK faction, the former Senator and currently Special Adviser on Political Affairs to President Buhari was reported to have said that “Fayose was an accident, Fayemi is a mistake” in Ekiti State.
Our sources who named some of the discredited members of the group led by one Muyiwa Adesua, said others include Tunde Doherty (Ondo), Kolawole Saidu(Oyo), Andrew Taiwo (Ogun), Olawuyi Alao and Femi Durodola (the duo fromOyo), Ayo Adejumo (Osun), Tayo Shodehinde (Lagos) and a few unknown others
Our source revealed that former Senator Ojudu confirmed while addressing the zoom meeting, the video of which has gone viral, that he took the decision to attend the conference despite the fact that he was advised against it by party chieftains both in the UK and in Nigeria.
Meanwhile, the Folu Ojutalayo-led authentic APC South West UK had issued a press release to dissociate the main stream APC South West group from what he described as a totally embarrassing and misplaced meeting. He expressed his disappointment that Senator Ojudu had allowed himself to be dragged into murky waters.
In a similar reaction, Ekiti state government, in a press release signed by Femi Odere, Special Assistant to Ekiti Governor, , has disowned the group that hosted Senator Ojudu in the unauthorised, ill-advised zoom conference a few days ago.
It would be recalled that the embattled Senator Ojudu has been going through a series of turbulence in Ekiti state recently.
