Borno COVID-19 response team discharges 2 patients, tests 7 positive

The Borno State coronavirus (COVID-19) response team; has discharged
two patients from the Abba Kyari Memorial Hospital isolation centre.
Even though no deaths were recorded yesterday (Thursday) at two
isolation centres of memorial hospital and University of Maiduguri
Teaching Hospital (UMTH); 100 COVID-19 suspected travelers were
quarantined at Hajj camp.
A member of the COVID-19 response team; Babakura Jato who is; also the
Commissioner of Information; disclosed this Thursday at a media update
in Maiduguri.
He said the quarantined suspected COVID-19 persons had put under
observations at the Hajj camp for two weeks before being released.
According to him, out of the 100 quarantined travelers, seven were
tested positive for coronavirus and taken to isolation centres.
