COMMISSIONER OF POLICE WARNS OFFICERS TO BE CIVIL IN ENFORCING LOCKDOWN ORDER

 The Commissioner of Police Ogun State police Command, CP Kenneth Ebrimson has warned officers and men of the State police Command to be civil with the members of the public while enforcing the 14 days lockdown order imposed by the Federal government to checkmate the wide spread of the deadlyCoronavirus also known asCOVID 19.          The CP handed down the warning on Wednesday 1st of April 2020 when he went round for on the spot assessment of border closure in Ogun State. The CP who moved round with the State director of Department of State Security, Mr David Tsakur and Commandant Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Mr Hammed Abodurin visited the boundary between Ogun and Lagos State at Ojodu-Berger area as well as boundary between Ogun and Oyo State at Ogunmakin area.The CP who express satisfaction with the conduct of the security agencies in the area visited, admonished them to take their time to explain the rationale behind the lockdown to people and persuade them to comply with the order rather than been harsh and brutal in their approach. He stressed that the Country is in a trying period and all hands must be on deck to fight and defeat the deadly virus.
