The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly before adjourning Plenary on Monday to Thursday, 26th March, 2020 at 10a.m, noted the spate of spread of COVID -19 and said that only key staff should work at this time.
He decleared that the doors of the Assembly will be shut to visitors except on urgent State matters.
The Speaker implored the visitors and journalists at the gallery to bear with the Assembly and stay away for now; while he advised the members of the Lagos State House of Assembly Correspondence Association – LAHACA to reduce their members at the Sitting.
Adding that the Plenary will be staggered while the trend of COVID -19 is observed.
He further urged his colleagues and all members of staff to apply the social distancing rule, sanitize their hands and stay safe.
