HEED THE STAY- AT- HOME DIRECTIVES ON COVID-19 OR RISK ARREST -CP ONDO

The Commissioner of Police Ondo State Police Command, CP Undie Adie, Psc+ is once again telling the good people of Ondo State to strictly adhere to the stay- at- home directives of the State Government on COVID 19 in their own interest or risk arrest by the Police Command.

     CP Undie Adie Psc+ says this warning becomes imperative as his visits to some notable points and markets within Akure metropolis suggest that people are not heeding to the directives.

     He says as an agency saddled with the responsibility of protecting of lives and property, the Ondo State Police Command will not watch the good people of Ondo State inviting death to themselves or to their loved ones.

     Covid-19 is real, is dreaded and both the developed and developing worlds have found no cure to it, except adhering to cautionary steps by medical authorities and governments.

     He therefore says, if persuasion could not send down the warnings to everyone living in Ondo State, then he would have no option but to use force to drive home the directives.

     CP Adie says Covid-19 has no age respect or consideration, but could be avoided if we could maintain distancing and the stay at home directives for now.
