Suspected Boko Haram terrorists in gun trucks and motorcycles attacked
Ngururi community and killed three people in Jere council of Borno

The terrorists also torched several houses and other property, before
fleeing towards the Alau Dam route into Sambisa Forest.
Confirming the incident Sunday in Maiduguri, Bulama Yuram, a survivor
who fled to Dalori camp; said that his car and other personal effects;
were also set ablaze by the insurgents.
He said the terrorists burst from the Dalori axis to attack Ngururi
community on Saturday at about 11 pm.
While lamenting on incessant attacks, he said that it was God that
saved his life, as most of the houses and other property in community
were set ablaze in last night’s attack.
He further disclosed that the destroyed property, were worth millions of naira.
According to him, his personal effects and property, including the car
were also torched by insurgents.
On the injured, he said: “Five villagers have been evacuated to the
University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH) for treatment.
“The residents were hit by stray bullets, while the terrorists were
setting the village ablaze,” he said, adding that people fled, because
of the fear of being abducted by insurgents.
