A Corporal serving with Operation Lafiya Dole yesterday went berserk and killed four soldiers at Malam Fatori Army Super camp 15 in Borno state. The rampaging soldier also injured two other soldiers, before killing himself at the Lake Chad shore super camp fighting Boko Haram terrorism. Army spokesman, Col. Sagir Musa stated Wednesday in Maiduguri said: “Two of his colleagues were also injured during the incident; and are currently stable in our hospital in Maiduguri.” According to him; efforts are ongoing to contact families of fallen gallant soldiers who paid the supreme price in action. “May their gentle souls rest in peace,” he said, adding that investigation into the incident has since been instituted to determine the circumstances that led to killing of troops in theatre of war.
