A suspect identified as one Ifeanyi Eze of Aguata Anambra state is now helping the operatives of the Enugu state command of the Nigeria police force in their investigations following his arrest on 18/6/19 by the combined team of the police and neighborhood watch members .It was however gathered that suspect had allegedly broken into an office by perforating the wall of the said office plaza located in oji River in the midnight of 18/6/19 and carted away desk top computer system. And was allegedly breaking the saves in the office looking for money before the operatives acting on information gathered swung into action and arresting him.Recovered from suspect include the stolen desk top and an axe which he allegedly used in perforating the wall of the office plaza and gaining entrance.The commissioner of police suleiman Balarabe has directed for a full scale investigations and diligent prosecution of suspect after investigation.
In a related development,one Ogbonna Chukwuma alias Ogenetike a notorious and suspected hoodlum of zone 5 Iva pottery Enugu state was on 14/6/19 nabbed along Holy Ghost axis by rail line by the operatives of the central police station Enugu.It was gathered that suspect had allegedly robbed a victim of his A16 Itel phone at the rail line axis but unknown to the suspect about the presence of plain cloth detectives keeping the place under surveillance .He was promptly arrested and the stolen item recovered from him together with some amount of money together with the iron road and broken bottle he used.Meanwhile,the state commissioner of police Suleiman Balarabe has directed for a full scale investigations while assuring that his operatives will stop at nothing until rail line area and its environs are cleared of hoodlums .He further disclosed that operatives are directed to intensify their.
