On 23rd May, 2019, at a location in Onipakala village near Ondo city, one Abdulahi Yaya ‘m’ was alleged to have vandalized a Power line where some of the electricity poles had fallen. The wire belongs to Benin Electricity Company (BED). The suspect willfully cut the wire and made away with it. The Policemen at Fagun Police Station quickly swung into action and arrested the culprit from his hiding. The electricity wire value yet unknown was also recovered from him. He confessed to the crime.
