Late Chief Gani Fawehinmi represents many things to so many persons. For us in Ikeja Branch of the NBA, he was epitome of hardwork, integrity and an erudite advocate. He died with his good name and reputation intact. We in Ikeja NBA have promise to continue to remember him until the end of the world. Come 15th of January, 2019 all members and lovers of Late Gani will gather at Airport Hotel, Ikeja by 10am to celebrate him and what he stood for. The Chairperson of the occasion shall be Hon Justice Habeeb Abiru of the Court of Appeal, Nigeria while the Guest Speaker shall be Professor Akin Oyebode, former Vice Chancellor of University of Ado Ekiti. As election draws nearer, the theme for dissection is “SECURING THE INDEPENDENCE OF INEC – A PANACEA TO A FREE, FAIR AND CREDIBLE ELECTIONS IN NIGERIA”.
