BON ELECTS ISMAIL CHAIRMAN ZONE D

The Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria (BON) has elected Alh Ismail Sani as its Chairman for Zone D comprising of all the North Central states & the FCT.
Sani, Chairman of Platinum Radio Keffi and Regional Director of the International Emergency Management Society (TIEMS), West African chapter emerged at the just concluded 70th General Assembly of the organisation held in Abuja.
Major highlight of the event was the election of the Broadcast body’s Vice Chairman, Sir Geoffrey Ohuabunwa of Multimesh Communications to deputise for Mr John Momoh of Channels Television.
The new Chairman Zone D’ has put in over 27years in the media industry and was at different times the pioneer Managing Editor of the Federation Account Allocation Committee Publication (FAAC NEWS) during the military era. He was also Press Secretary in the defunct Democratic Party of Nigeria (DPN), Assistant National Publicity Secretary- All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP), National Director of Publicity -Democratic Peoples Party (DPP) among others.
He is a member of several professional bodies including the International Public Relations Association (IPRA) & the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) London.
