Ahead of today‘s encounter between Kwara United Football Club of Ilorin and MFM Football Club, a Stalwart of All Progressives Congress, Alhaji Abubakar Kawu Baraje has pledged a donation of one hundred thousand naira to each goal score by the harmony boys.
Alhaji Baraje while reacting to a request raised by the Media Officer of the Club, AbdulWaheed Bibire today at a media parley in his GRA residence, said this was to spur the harmony boys to victory and return them to better position on the ladder.
The Sports loving Politician also reiterated his support to Kwara United Football Club and appreciated the State government for its investment on the club.
Kwara United will this afternoon play MFM FC at the main bowl of the State Stadium by four O’clock.
Also speaking, the State Chairman of the Football Association, Alhaji Busari Ishola, thanked Alhaji Baraje for his kind support and called for financial assistance for ABS Football Club to enable the club compete in the national league.
