Marshal, Boboye Oyeyemi has advised Nigerians to celebrate the Independence day without recording any crash . He spoke through Bisi Kazeem, the Corps Public Education Officer of the Corps in a statement. Oyeyemi while wishing Nigerians happy independence day celebrations , says only the living celebrates and advises the motoring public to drive to safe a life while ensuring they give adequate consideration to other road users whether pedestrians, cyclists or motorcyclists while eschewing road rage, drunk driving, phoning on wheel, overloading, speeding and dangerous driving amongst other road vices. The Corps Marshal warns that there would be increase in vehicular and human traffic as a result of the celebrations especially to stadiums , event places, places of worship , restaurants, clubs and drinking joints, therefore , need to be defensive in driving and see other motorists as potential danger is quite important
