Lionel Messi is no doubt one of the world’s greatest footballer that ever graced the earth. This accolade is not about his statistical greatness but rather he added another achievement on Friday in his home town of Rosario, where he got married to his childhood sweetheart Antonella Roccuzzo in a star-studded ceremony in Argentina.
Despite the fact that Diego Maradona was not part of the ceremony, the wedding was not short of guests as reports suggest about 250 people attended. Amongst which were, Barcelona team mates Luis Suarez, Neymar, Sergio Busquets, Piqué & Shakira (who at some points were not expected to attend), Luis Suárez, Alba, Pinto, Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero and Pepe Costa were present.
Former players of Barcelona Former Barcelona greats Carles Puyol, Xavi, Cesc Fabregas, Dani Alves and Samuel Eto’o were also present at the event. The event was one the people of Rosario would not forget anytime soon and we are wishing the Messi family a happy marital bliss!
