Appeared two times. Rejected two times. Ibrahim Magu acting EFCC boss was again not confirmed by the senate bringing uncertainty over who will head the commission.

Sabi Abdullahi, senate spokeman said he was not confirmed based on DSS report which clearly stated that it stands by the earlier content of the report dated 3rd October 2016.
Abdullahi said despite the DSS report the senate still gave Magu an opportunity to clear himself when rounds of questions took place Abdullahi said he was not impressed by Magu’s response to the issues brought up by the DSS. Magu said he had made written submission to the presidency adding that he did not know he will be asked those questions.
Magu seems to have wasted the oppourtunity to clear himself from the DSS allegations. But Wahab Shittu, a lawyer said the rejection of Magu is major setback to the war against corruption, because he is investigating high profile cases that involve some of senators.
