NEWLY BUILT PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE AT SECRETARIAT BUS STOP, ACROSS LAGOS-IBADAN EXPRESSWAY

Date:

For years, residents and commuters around Magodo Phase 2 and Alausa Secretariat axis had yearned for a pedestrian bridge to enable them navigate both sides of the ever busy Lagos-Ibadan Expressway section of the area.

Hence, many residents have lost their lives in an attempt to cross the road.

In response to their yearnings, the State Government under Governor Akinwunmi Ambode approved the construction of a pedestrian Bridge at that location, while the project was consequently commenced with the greater vision to ensure safety of lives and property of residents and commuters in the axis.
