Another Nollywood Actor Dies

Another Nollywood actor has been reported dead.

The actor Chikezie Uwazie reportedly passed after undergoing brain surgery in the United States. His death was announced by colleague, Obey Etok, via her Instagram page on Sunday.

 

This is coming after the shocking demise of Nollywood ace actor, Saint Obi and his Yoruba counterparts; Murphy AfolabiWasiu Adegbenro a.k.a “Techno” and Mukaila Adedigba.

Sources squealed to us that Chikezie Uwazie died after undergoing brain surgery in the United States.

His colleague, Obey Etok, disclosed this on her Instagram page on Sunday, May 14th, 2023.

She wrote, “I can’t imagine I’m posting this. Chikezie Uwazie goneeeee. After a 2nd brain surgery. Gini na emezi. I’m so shocked to get this news this evening. Just got this from our IMSU alumni platform.”

“I thought you told me you were going to the States for greener pastures. You promised to come back some years back but I didn’t see you. I can’t believe you are gone but God knows best. Rest on Chyko.”

For those who don’t know, Saint Obi died last week after a protracted illness.

Murphy Afolabi, died on Sunday, May 14th, 2023 after complications from a slip in the bathroom.

Also, Wasiu Adegbenro, popularly known as “Techno”, died on Sunday May 14, 2023 while Mukaila Adedigba died on May 13, 2023.
