On 4/8/2019, a three member gang of armed robbers invaded the house of one Ijeoma Opanwa, inflicted matchet cut on one Daberechi Okafor who was present at the time of their invasion, instilled fear on other occupants and made away with two children namely; Oluma Chukwu aged 4yrs and Promise Opanwa aged 2 yrs to an unknown destination. They robbed them of their Tecno phone and undisclosed cash. On receipt of the information, operatives of Anti kidnapping Unit swung into action and arrested the suspects. They volunteered useful information to the police that will assist operatives to recover the stolen children and apprehend the other fleeing gang members.
