The NDCP Candidate for House of Representatives in Egor/Ikpoba-Okha Fed. Constituency has called on President Muhammad u Buhari to call the Military to order. The People’s Comrade made this call in Benin City, Edo State Capital while addressing a Crowd of 1,100 amongst whom were Lawyers, Doctors, Civil Society Organization Leaders, Politicians, Students, Traders and Clergymen.
In his long message, the People’s Comrade said “It is now clear that the Security Operatives may be the real threats to Our National Security. The Unilateral and reckless activities of the Nigeria Army on innocent Civilians MUST stop. Attacks on Democratic channels such as Journalists, Amnesty International, UNICEF, etc is a direct attack against the People.
I hereby call on the Commander-in-Chief, President Muhammadu Buhari, to call to order the Army. They must understand the rule of law, and must not deviate from it unless guided by a competent Court.
Testing of military mights must and should be against Boko- Haram; the real Enemies and not innocent Nigerians and true Democrats. We can not be afraid of the same People with which our Taxes are used to pay. We feed them, cloth them and shelter them. They can not turn around to become a nightmare to Nigerians. This MUST stop.
I so state without equivocation that, activities lately of the Federal Government, INEC appointment of Amina Zakari, IGP clinging onto Office, Broad daylight Vote buying, etc has caused some unrest in several quarters in the Country, and these have to STOP.
This is a call to the President of our dear Federal Republic, the NASS, all Civil Society Organizations, The Press, International Communities, to work assiduously to restore Peace and calmness in Nigeria prior to and after the 2019 Elections.
