KOFI ANNAN: JAW JAW AFRICA MOURNS, BEGS BOKO HARAM TO CEASE FIRE

The Management of Jaw Jaw Africa has mourned the death of a renowned diplomat and two time Secretary General of the United Nation, Kofi Annan while pleading with the Islamic Sect Boko Haram to embrace dialogue.
This was contained in a press release signed by the initiator, Victor Eniola Mark.
The statement reads in part: “The Management of Jaw Jaw Africa mourns Kofi Anan. This death is indeed one too many as Kofi is a key advocate of conflict prevention and resolution.”
The Statement also commiserated with the family of the Diplomat while calling on African Youths to pursue peace and avoid violence.
“We wish to commiserate with the family of Kofi Annan and pray that God Almighty grant them the strength to bear the loss of this Nobel laureate”, the statement says.
It added: “We must also use this medium to urge youths to be advocates of  dialogue as a viable means of conflict prevention and resolution.”
The Statement Concluded by pleading with Boko Haram and other warring sides across the world to honour Kofi by embracing dialogue and seeking peace.
It concluded: “Meeting Jaw to Jaw is obviously a far better course than war war. We are using this medium to plead with Boko Haram and all warring parties across the world to honour Kofi by dropping their guns and seeking peace. Please embrace dialogue.”
