UCL: MANCHESTER UNITED VS SEVILLA PREDICTED XI

Date:

March 13, 2018

This week sees the final tranche of matches in the Champions League last-16 round.

On Tuesday the focus for Premier League centric football fans will be Man United’s match against Sevilla.

United scored a 0-0 draw in the first leg in Spain, which means a score-draw for Sevilla at Old Trafford would advance them into the quarterfinals.

For the record, Sevilla have already registered a score draw in England in the Champions League as they drew 2-2 with Liverpool at Anfield in the group stage.

The big absentee for Man United against Sevilla is set to be Paul Pogba.

While Jose Mourinho did his best on Monday to suggest Pogba could be available, the French midfielder is set to be sidelined with a knock.

Pogba was injured before last weekend’s match against Liverpool. Scott McTominay injured his team mate in training on Friday.

Manchester United predictions

Starting with Man United’s attack, Romelu Lukaku is predicted to be supported by Alexis Sanchez playing in the number 10 role.

Marcus Rashford, fresh from his double vs Liverpool, could start on the left. Jesse Lingard, rather than Anthony Martial or Juan Mata, is set to start on the right.
